The fixed-price of $109.00 plus return shipping is an evaluation and diagostic charge and is due even if your unit is not repaired.  While the vast majority of transponders can be repaired for this price, a few are just not economically repairable.  The following list includes, but is not limited to, problems that are not covered under this fixed-price offer.

(1) Replacement of tubes or solid-state transmitter output devices.

(2) Total replacement of logic board assemblies.

(3) Replacement of missing parts.

(4) Upgrade and modification of older, no longer approved, units.

(5) Damage due to carelessness or neglect.

A small percentage of transponders we receive and inspect have NO problems at all.  To save yourself some money, please read the page BEFORE YOU SHIP as it has numerous tips and self-tests that you can do yourself.
